posted by khairulazmi.com28th, 2008

I just read one interesting news on earth.co.uk here : http://www.earth.co.uk/News/mpc-voted-8-1-for-interest-rate-cut_542.html
where the articles did talk about recent Bank of England’’s Monetary Policy Committee vote on rate cut.

The vote released revealed that MPC voted eight to one to cut the interest rate.

The only member who id not vote is David Blanchflower.

The result from the voted show that MPC still expecting a much worse credit crunch to expand in few months forward.

Some Analyst said they expect that the Bank Of England will cut the interest rate by 25% between April and May 2008

Great Britain Pound get the first effect from the release against United states dollar, same goes to England Stock exchange.

But will this rate cut will be effecting nation Uk Mortgages directly?

That question can only be answered in the next few months where we can see how credit market in UK absorbed recent BOE decision.

As for me I’m expecting a steady bullish sentiment on UK mortgages market in the medium run.

What do you think?
